This CD, more than any other Yellowjackets release, represents the times and events that inspired the compositions. Yellowjackets explore the themes of healing, peace, friendship, children, 9/11, jazz heroes, and of course time itself, in their uniquely diverse styles and original treatments.
....! ..... it’s really time interpreted by four equal individuals and all that has taken place in our lives between the notes we play together. Or it may be the intersection of our aesthetic senses, our communal square.
