We’re pleased to be able to make available to you all the leadsheets from our live double CD, Mint Jam. We’ve tried to include the essential elements you’ll need to play these songs without overwhelming you with minutia. In conjunction with the recorded ver- sions of these songs, this songbook should give you a comprehensive insight into the music. As always, subtle alterations (some even intended!) were made dur- ing the recorded performances but I think you’ll find that the most important parts have been faithfully notated.

Most songs are presented in leadsheet form consisting of the concert melody line along with chord symbols. In almost all cases we’ve also included a sample bass line and specific chord voicings. The exception is “Tortoise and the Hare” which we notated in score form including a transposed melody line for Bb tenor sax.
